About David Vila Nova

David Vila Nova is a 20-year-old Portuguese music artist and Audiovisual Design student developing a multidisciplinary creative practice rooted in Sound Design. With sound as a central structuring element, his work expands across audiovisual production, 2D animation, photography, character design and 3D modelling, exploring how different media can interact to create immersive and emotionally resonant experiences.

His practice combines technical precision with aesthetic sensitivity, focusing on the relationship between image, sound, rhythm, and narrative. Through each project, David seeks to build coherent visual and sonic languages that communicate atmosphere, emotion, and intention in a meaningful way.

Influenced by contemporary music culture, cinematic storytelling, and digital art, he approaches creation as a process of experimentation and synthesis between artistic intuition and technical execution. His projects often explore mood, identity, movement, and sensory perception, blending conceptual thinking with practical production skills.

With a cross-disciplinary mindset, David develops work that moves fluidly between artistic expression and contemporary audiovisual production, positioning himself at the intersection of creativity, design and emerging digital media.
